Gas Station Dance AI Trend: The Original Clip, Song, and How to Make Your Own

The Gas Station Dance AI trend is the sunset forecourt clip with three connected moments: a dancer opens the scene, the camera switches to a selfie, and another person steps out of a car. To put yourself into that sequence, look for a dedicated Gas Station Dance video template, rather than a generic dance prompt.

If you came here looking for customers dancing for a discount in New York, that is a separate video, documented by Syracuse University. This guide covers the photo-to-video AI format. We checked the public creation pages on October 4, 2026, without logging in, paying or generating a video. The cover and body images are Seadanse promotional assets, not our results.

The original clip and the song: what is confirmed?

Seadanse's FAQ attributes the source clip to Mikhail Litvin, Ravshan and Adel Veigel, and dates its Instagram upload to September 22, 2026. It identifies the soundtrack as a remix of “Stay With Me” by Akcent, also described as “On and On.” These are the vendor's attributions: we could not independently confirm the original post, first-upload date or exact remix version.

Use those names and the song title as search leads, rather than treating a repost as the original. A template preview helps you recognize the choreography; it does not establish who uploaded the source first. Likewise, a playable source clip is not evidence that the tool can reproduce your face successfully.

Choose the people before choosing the photos

Think of the roles as a short scene: the dancer starts the outing, the selfie character brings the viewer into it, and the car arrival supplies the ending. Putting the friend who is always late in the last shot can make the sequence work as a joke without changing the choreography.

Prepare a separate image for each person you want to cast. Check the slot labels before uploading; a group photo leaves the identity assignment ambiguous. For a wide dance shot, choose an image that shows the body and clothing. For the selfie, prioritize a clear, front-facing face. Keep distinctive details visible if they are what makes your friend recognizable.

One photo does not necessarily mean one person plays every role. Some templates fill empty slots with other characters. If your intention is a three-friend video, check that all three upload slots contain the right person before you submit.

Where to make your own Gas Station Dance video

Start with a named-role template

Open Seadanse's Gas Station Dance effect. Its slots are Dancer, Selfie and Car. The page accepts 1–3 photos, fills empty roles with AI characters and advertises a 20-second vertical video with music. A prompt is optional. It requires adults aged 18 or older in uploaded human photos.

On our check, the default 480p charge was 370 credits; the 40 free starter credits are insufficient. Its public starter pack was $9.90 for 495 credits. Check the selected resolution and current charge before buying.

Use the dedicated three-shot maker

GasStationDance.com describes a roughly 15-second template using 2–3 photos, in dance → selfie → car order. Its upload area also says “3 photos, in shot order”; for a full trio, prepare all three rather than assuming how a missing photo will be handled.

The public Single Video pack displayed $9.90, covering 100 credits for one 720p Standard video, with 30-day credit validity. It offers a default vertical frame and other aspect ratios. This is a paid generation route, not a free completed-video offer. The site labels its example gallery as generated clips; we have not verified them against their input photos.

Read another template's role instructions

Trendai's Gas Station Dance template describes 17 seconds, with photo 1 assigned to the dancer, photo 2 to the selfie and photo 3 to the car exit. Its page displayed 1,990 credits at 480p. The form calls supporting characters optional, while the FAQ says three photos are needed. Use all three for a trio; confirm the missing-slot behavior if making a solo version.

Its three-shot planning guide is useful for deciding how the arrival completes the scene. These services use different credit systems, so the numbers alone do not tell you which finished video is cheaper.

Fixed template or free-form generation?

Choose a fixed template when you want the recognizable shot order and dance timing. Your main creative choices are the cast, their roles and the caption. A general text-to-video prompt such as “a person dancing at a sunset gas station” describes the setting, but does not specify the source choreography or reproduce its camera cuts.

If you want a different dance, location or ending, plan a new sequence instead. For example, describe the opening movement, how the selfie connects to it, and why the final person arrives. That becomes a separate video-making task, with more decisions about motion, continuity, editing and audio. A still-image editor alone cannot deliver the moving three-shot sequence.

Review the whole clip before sharing

Watch the dance, selfie and car exit all the way through. Check whether each person stays recognizable, the assigned roles remain correct and the final shot finishes before the export cuts off. Look at hands, feet and moving faces as well as the thumbnail. Higher resolution is not proof of better likeness or motion.

For the song, listen to the actual export before editing your post around it: we have not verified the exact audio supplied by these generators. If you need a particular remix, confirm that version rather than assuming every template uses the same sound.

The practical starting point is simple: pick the scene you recognize, assign your people to its three roles, open a real template page and check its preview and charge. The public pages provide a route to making the clip; they do not let us promise your result's quality or turnaround time.
