This project is scheduled for launch
Launch date: Friday, November 20, 2026 at 08:00 AM UTC
Safe Outreach is a free checker that looks up LinkedIn Chrome extensions against LinkedIn's detection list and publishes teardowns of session handling.
LinkedIn's frontend ships a hardcoded roster of Chrome extension IDs that Safe Outreach calls AED (Active Extension Detection). On each page load in Chromium browsers, LinkedIn probes those IDs; a hit is a risk signal, not an automatic ban. The site's Nov 2026 snapshot lists 4,934 IDs and says the roster moved from 6,153 in February 2026 after LinkedIn dropped 2,544 and added 1,325. You type an extension name or Chrome Web Store URL to see whether that ID is on the snapshot. The About page frames the product as a research project: is the extension on LinkedIn's list, and where does it send the LinkedIn session?
Not on the list does not mean safe. The homepage notes a second scanner that watches for page injection, and names Expandi and HeyReach as HIGH-risk teardowns that were not on the AED list yet upload the session. Teardowns focus on whether the li_at session cookie stays local or is copied to a vendor cloud (cookie-bridge). Methodology says they download published Chrome Web Store packages, de-minify them, and follow session handling without logging into LinkedIn. About claims 127+ tools read this way; How we test walks through Waalaxy as a worked example. Terms say findings are informational snapshots of a specific version, not legal or security advice, and vendors can change behavior after publication.
The image on this page is the site's Open Graph card hosted on a Linked Helper storage bucket (linkedhelper-sot), not a live AED query from this visit. No extension ID was checked and no Chrome Web Store package was downloaded here. Seailife has no launched listings for the automation tools named on the homepage, so Waalaxy, Dux-Soup, PhantomBuster and similar names stay plain text.
There is no pricing page and no account wall on the public checker. Navigation includes Why Linked Helper is safer, and popular-tool cards are framed as extensions people compare to Linked Helper. Treat that as editorial preference from a research site whose social image is served from Linked Helper infrastructure, not as an independent lab ranking. Contact paths on the public pages checked for this listing are thin; Terms were updated 2 November 2026 alongside the methodology date, while the homepage checker line was updated 7 November 2026.
Safe Outreach does not send LinkedIn messages for you and is not itself a mass-outreach bot. It also cannot clear an account of other detection signals such as behavior or fingerprint mismatch. The Seailife submitter display name is Safe Outreach.
Comments will be available once the project is launched.
